Get Ready for the Aging Boom! Forum

The forum Get Ready for the Aging Boom! was held May 14, 2009 on the campus of WSU Vancouver. It explored the impact of the aging population on workforce development, transportation, housing, and health & long term care. The forum was co-sponsored by Southwest Washington Agency on Aging, WSU Vancouver, and State Council on Aging. The keynote speaker, Mr. Bob Blancato, has served on the Policy Committee and Executive Committee of the 2005 White House Conference on Aging and is an expert in the field of aging policy. He gave two speeches addressing the aging boom in our communities (Keynote Speech) and ways of building communities for successful aging (Luncheon Speech).
