The Southwest Washington Agency on Aging and Disabilities (SWAAD) is part of the national network of Area Agencies on Aging, a public service agency solely dedicated to helping persons aged 60 and over, adults with disabilities and their families to access needed community services in Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Klickitat and Skamania counties.

By providing access to a wide range of resources, SWAAD makes it possible for older individuals, adults with disabilities and their families to choose the services and living arrangements that suits them best.  To assist older persons in making informed choices and decisions, the SWAAD directly provides specialized services called Senior Information and Assistance.  Senior Information & Assistance offices are located in Vancouver, Kelso, Goldendale, Stevenson, and White Salmon.

This Web site is part of our mission to assist older people, adults with disabilities, and their families and caregivers to achieve well-being through opportunities for community living and provide a network of in-home and community services that promote choice, independence and dignity.
