Request a Gatekeeper Training

At the Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities we are committed to protecting the rights and needs of our community’s seniors. We rely on community members to remain alert for seniors at risk, especially those who are isolated, living alone and potentially in need of assistance to maintain their safety and independence.

We partner with area employers and organizations to recruit and train community “Gatekeepers.” After participating in our one-hour training, these “gatekeepers” v are equipped to recognize and respond to the warning signs of a senior in trouble.

Contact the Information & Assistance Program to request a training.
