Sarah Revord

“I love being able to help vulnerable people remain at home for as long as possible,” said Sarah Revord, Community Services Family Caregiver Support Program Coordinator at the Area Agency on Aging & Disabilities in Southwest Washington.

With a bachelor’s degree in social science from Washington State University, Sarah came to the agency in 2013 from Vancouver Housing Authority. Originally, a Medicaid Case Manager, Sarah was excited to discover the depth and breadth of resources that AAADSW has to offer older adults, people with disabilities and their families. In 2017, she moved to a role as Kinship Navigator for the Kinship Support Program, and in November 2022 moved to her current role as Family Caregiver Support Program Coordinator.

“We have an incredible number of resources that can have a huge impact on peoples’ lives,” Sarah continued. “In addition, it’s a great work environment with a kind, open-minded and supportive team. It’s a pleasure to work in a place that allows you to prioritize family time and events while doing work that makes a big difference in the lives of the people we serve.”
